The key to a $1.3T opportunity

A new real estate trend called co-ownership is revolutionizing a $1.3T market. Leading it? Pacaso. Led by former Zillow execs, they already have $110M+ in gross profits with 41% growth last year. They even reserved the Nasdaq ticker PCSO. But the real opportunity’s now. Until 5/29, you can invest for just $2.80/share.

This is a paid advertisement for Pacaso’s Regulation A offering. Please read the offering circular at invest.pacaso.com. Reserving a ticker symbol is not a guarantee that the company will go public. Listing on the NASDAQ is subject to approvals. Under Regulation A+, a company has the ability to change its share price by up to 20%, without requalifying the offering with the SEC.

THE ART OF LEADERSHIP

Lead from the Back

Mandela’s Guide to Quiet Strength, Shared Triumph, and Listening that Turns Struggle into Enduring Harmony Across a Reborn Nation!

I led by walking among the people, feeling the same dust and heat that baked their hopes. When I spoke, they heard their accents of longing. Real power trades pride for purpose. In prison, I learned freedom begins inside; no warder can command it once the spirit stands up. Those who marched beside me did not follow orders; they followed a vision reflected at them.

After release, I knew no heart is won through humiliation. Rivals transform when invited to craft tomorrow. I listened twice and spoke once, naming the wound beneath each slogan. Justice without mercy breeds cycles; mercy without justice leaves scars. We built trust in dusty schoolrooms and narrow kitchens, showing that policy begins with a shared table.

What Team or nation waits for your strength? Step back so others step forward. Praise each small act of unity until it grows bold. Pass the ball, share the credit, lift the song a chorus alone can sustain. Plant shade trees whose fruit we may never taste and call that victory. Progress resembles a chord: notes sustained together, resonant enough to move mountains.

Lead like Mandela: trade pride for purpose, invite a rival to speak, spotlight a small act of unity until it grows bold enough to pull the circle on!

Miami 17-Story Hyatt Skybridge Hotel Breaks Ground

Grand Hyatt Miami Beach kicks off $385M 17-story tower: 800 rooms, skybridge to convention center, rooftop pools, 500 jobs, debuting late 2027

Excavators rolled onto 17th Street in Miami Beach on April 29 as Balfour Beatty began raising the long-awaited Grand Hyatt Miami Beach Convention Center Hotel, a $385 million, 17-story tower that developers Terra and Turnberry had been chasing since voters approved the plan in 2018.

Designed by Arquitectonica, the 996,000-sq-ft project features 800 rooms, 52 suites, on four floors of ballrooms and 90,000 sq ft of meeting space. A climate-controlled sky bridge will transport guests into the convention center, while a rooftop deck featuring twin pools and rain-harvesting planters aims for LEED Gold certification.

Securing a $392 million construction loan this spring unlocked shovels, and Balfour Beatty says more than 500 trades will hit peak on-site by mid-2026, tracking a late-2027 opening. The start injects hotel inventory into a market that lost 3,000 keys to condo conversions and typifies a national rebound: hospitality jobs are up 37 % year-over-year as financiers rediscover sun-belt convention cash.

TransWest Breaks Ground on 732-Mile Wind Superline

Utah launch of $3 B TransWest Express starts steel for 732-mile HVDC corridor to ferry Wyoming wind to Southwest by 2029, creating 1k jobs

Crews broke ground outside Delta, Utah, on May 13, 2025, launching construction of the 732-mile TransWest Express HVDC line after the Bureau of Land Management issued its final notice to proceed. First work includes grading access roads, drilling piers for 140-foot monopoles, and setting up a 3,000-worker camp.

The $3 billion link will move 3 GW of Wyoming wind power from the Chokecherry and Sierra Madre complex through Utah and Colorado to a new converter station near Las Vegas, plugging into CAISO’s Marketplace hub. Backers say the line will feed two million homes, cut curtailment, and create the West’s first HVDC backbone.

Owner TransWest, backed by Philip Anschutz, aims to energize the line in late 2029. Utah crews will string conductors with cranes to protect wildlife, while Nevada utilities prepare grid upgrades. The build is expected to create 1,000 jobs and $550 million in tax revenue; a viewshed lawsuit was tossed in April, clearing the way for steel to rise quickly this year.

Wildfire Cuts OSB Supply, Builders Hit Price Shock

Canada wildfire shuts key OSB mill; panel prices jump 18% in a week, US builders scramble for substitutes and lock bids before summer framing rush

A lightning-sparked blaze near Prince George's, British Columbia, forced West Fraser to shut its 800-MMSF PolarBoard OSB mill on May 12, erasing eight percent of supply overnight. Rails stayed open, but the firm declared force majeure before dawn, warning customers of allocation cuts within days. OSB futures on the Chicago exchange jumped US$45 to $540 per thousand square feet, the most significant one-day gain since the 2021 squeeze.

By May 16, wholesale quotes averaged $515, up 18 percent week-over-week, and framers in Texas and the Carolinas began renegotiating contracts. D.R. Horton is locked in a two-month supply at $528 delivered, while Pulte Homes instructed design teams to replace diagonal metal bracing with OSB on non-shear walls. Georgia importers reported busy phones as buyers chased Brazilian and Chilean boards, despite six-week transit times.

Analysts warn that another shutdown could push OSB near $600, yet rain slows the fire. Crews hope to restart one press by mid-June, which will help cap builder costs.
