"Without continual growth and progress, such words as improvement, achievement, and success have no meaning."

— Benjamin Franklin

Meaningful words for today from Benjamin Franklin?  Yes, we need to get our arms around just that.  Who does this quote apply to?  Well, everybody.  But just saying it applies to everybody certainly does not mean that everybody understands that.  The business executive “always gets it”.  Simply because achieving success is at the forefront of their thinking every moment of every day.  What is not often understood is “whose growth and progress” are we talking about?  Not one single business executive or manager at any level can achieve success unless they have a team of people doing the real work of business—whatever that might be.  The business executive MUST measure their continual growth and progress by that of their people.  Providing development opportunities, for growth and progress, to every single person in a company is essential.  Without the growth and progress of “working people” such words as improvement, achievement, and success “of the business” have no meaning.  Still, Benjamin Franklin.

As a result, contractors are eagerly preparing to expand their staffing in the upcoming months.

Communities Secretary, Michael Gove, boldly voiced his stance against these high-rise schemes, recognizing the potential harm they could inflict on the area's rich heritage. Great Portland Estates (GPE), the developer behind the original plans submitted in 2018, faced criticism regarding the height of their proposed building, prompting them to revise their scheme in April 2021. Despite the council's failure to reach a decision, GPE took matters into its own hands and appealed both applications, ultimately securing approval. While Gove acknowledged the positive impact of the upper-floor public gardens, he expressed valid concerns regarding the ground-floor space.
