Flammable Gas:
Batteries emit hydrogen gas, which is flammable and can lead to fires or explosions if allowed to accumulate.
Electrical Shock:
Batteries can discharge at high rates, causing severe electrical arcing. Accidental shorting can result in burns and shocks.
Weight:
Batteries, especially those used in forklifts, are heavy and require proper handling equipment to avoid injuries.
Safe Battery Handling Practices:
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
